A4
Just about everything we print or write is done on an A4 size sheet. To accommodate this popular sheet size are envelopes specifically manufactured to suit. What size envelope you need, depends on how times you fold this sheet. 1. Folded into 3 ........ you need DL (110x220) 2. Folded in half ....... you need C5 (162x230) 3. No fold ................ you need C4 (324x229) If you are not following this rule (and are mailing out A4) you are using the wrong size envelope and no doubt, a genius at folding..!! Being popular, the above sizes are also competitively priced. Organising a mail out with reply envelopes ??? We suggest the following combinations. Outer DL ................. inner 11B Outer 120x235 ......... inner DL or 11B To attract the lowest possible postal rate when organising mail outs your ready to post envelope package must be: SMALL ENVELOPES No smaller than 138x88mm No larger than 130x240mm No thicker than 5mm No heavier than 125 grams (PreSort and Local Delivery) or No heavier than 250 grams (Ordinary Post, Print Post etc.) LARGE ENVELOPES No larger than 360x260mm No thicker than 20mm No heavier than 250 grams (PreSort or Local Delivery) or No heavier than 500 grams (Ordinary Post, Print Post etc.) Anything over this is classed as Parcel Post Australia Post's address barcoding system attracts even lower rates. If you are organising a mailout, ask us how.
